Acupuncture in metastatic cancer

I've noted that in metastasis there is a strong excessive pulse at the organ

depth, which I

presume is the cancer -it feels like a different organism. I wonder if anyone

could guide me

to some discussion of which points contain the cancer energetically. It stands

to reason, for

example, that if the cancer is trying to invade the lungs or has invaded the

liver, we would

need to treat the Liver or Lung meridian, but does one use controlling

(dispersing) points or

strengthening points. (My two patients are largely asymptomatic at this point,

from a

biomedical perspective). I realize this is a complex discussion, so I'd be

willing to just buy

and read a book, if I can get a good recommendation.

I'd like to add a question to these: if cancer is unrestrained growth,

wouldn't one treat the Liver anyway?
