Guest guest
Kaiser had a nutrition class for Diabetics, or people interested in such. It was a very good class even inspiring. At one point all who brought their blood sug. monitors to class did their test and recorded the blood sug. Class went on for a short while, everyone stood and did 15 min. of exercise. Amazing but several of the people actually changed their blood sug count over 50 points. The whole exercise was standing in one place and it was for 15 min. Also all of the people who participated, changed their blood sug, even a couple of people who sat in a chair and did the exercise made a change in their reading. The moral to the story is, just think how much power we do have in our health care. On top of that no powers that be can put any restrictions on it. Just exercise and we are taking control of our own health in a way. At this point in time "they " are trying to get control of everything from the growing herbs to catching rain water. I received an email from somewhere that the State of Washington is retaining the right to control the rain water from being caught to drink or other purposes. They also did this in Bolivia, when water was privatized. They were not allowed to catch rain water. Who would ever believe that having a control freak hanging around for 8 yrs could change our rights to nothing. Better exercise while you can. Also we had better get behind the people who are working to save our rights. sharonGet fantasy football with free live scoring. Sign up for FanHouse Fantasy Football today. Guest guest
My blood sugar first thing in the morning was running 125-140. 2 hours after eating, it was 180-220. I have trouble getting out to walk because of long work hours, and can't walk for a long time because of pain in my feet, knees and hips. I started walking 10 minutes at a time on an exercise mat on top of my carpet to cushion my feet. I do this 1 to 3 times a day. My readings have dropped to between 85-110 both in the morning and after eating. , kerley983 wrote: > > Kaiser had a nutrition class for Diabetics, or people interested in such. > It was a very good class even inspiring.
