Guest guest
I understand that DMSO is great with burns - does it matter that this is containing sulphur in its formula combination? Herbal tincture Urtica Dioscea is a burns specific remedy - dilute well - and/or the Miracle II gel or Neutraliser Jane - " magnoliarouge47 " <magnoliarouge47 Monday, July 28, 2008 4:56 PM Silver salve Is there a Silver salve that doesn't contain sulpher compounds? Guest guest
No sulphur compounds of any kind in creams etc. Severe reaction in the past. I had laser surgery on my fanny, and OUCH! I went back to the Dr. last Thursday, and of course it's infected. I'm using a RX called Mupirocin 2%, 3 times a day. I have pain med's but i don't take them unless the pain is too intense. Thanks. Guest guest
Hi Magnolia,I found this information about aloe vera...Mary Jo“... the ability of Aloe vera to heal third-degree burns and frost bite (is attributed) to the presence in the plant of salicylates... and the presence of fatty acids, such as cholesterol, triglycerides, and cell membrane phospho-lipids which are precursors to the arachidonic acid cascade.”Silver salvePosted by: "magnoliarouge47" magnoliarouge47 magnoliarouge47Sun Jul 27, 2008 11:56 pm (PDT)Is there a Silver salve that doesn't contain sulpher compounds?I have 3rd degree burns that need quick healing. Guest guest
Use a Colloidal Silver spray on the burn--there is no sulfur in pure CS liquid. No need for a salve. My cat jumped up on the stove and pulled down a skillet of hot grease on him. Burnt his hind quarters from the top of his hips to the bottom of his ankles. I was putting aloe Vera on the burn without much benefit. On the 5th day I remembered CS and went to the health food store and bought a spray bottle (because touching the burn to apply aloe Vera hurt him so much). The spray was amazing. It was almost as if I could see new skin growing, it worked that fast. It relieved his pain almost immediately. Within 2 weeks he was just about healed over. Hardly any scabs at all, just new pink flesh formed and today one side has almost no scar at all--even his hair grew back. On the other side, which was the worst side, he has a thin scar that runs the length of his leg. No hair grew back there, but the skin is pink and smooth, not puckered like most burn scars. I would never be without CS for a burn emergency again, after seeing what it did for the bad burns on my cat. Samala, Renee ---- Is there a Silver salve that doesn't contain sulpher compounds? Guest guest
For bad burns, use honey. It takes the pain almost instantly away, and heals without scars. It is a sticky kind of cure, but it does work. Works for bee stings also. I have had many burns, and used it, and it works in about 5 to ten miinutes as far as taking away the pain. IF you have a first aid kit, it should contain a small bottle of honey for burns. Guest guest
Not outlawed at all. They will try to make CS sound bad, by showing the blue man on every TV station. But he made the wrong type of CS. What you buy in the health food store (or make yourself using the right equipment and done the right way) will be perfect. You will be amazed at how fast a burn will heal with CS. Put the spray on, and if you can stand the weight of something on the burn, you can soak a piece of gauze in CS and lay that on it to keep it moist. Samala, Renee ---- Thanks.
