Guest guest
You are so right. I'm particularly concerned about fluoride's effects on the thyroid gland. I don't use fluoride tooth products and I filter my water, but I consumed fluoridated water all through childhood, and likely still do if I'm at a restaurant. Plus, any packaged foods are going to be processed with the water from the locality where they originate, and many of those places have fluoride in the water supply. It's hard to get away from it. We aren't really given the choice. The government determined we'd be fluoridated and so we are. (And yes, I have a thyroid disorder). jaime,CA
Guest guest
Hi friends, I have recently joined this list. I am putting together a short documentary on fluoride. I, like many people have been led to believe that our government and FDA are there to protect us. I live in the USA. My mind has now changed. In fact, when I mention this to people, many have a dazed look on their face. People do not want to accept that something is very wrong with the information that we are being given. I think what really sunk the last nail in the coffin was when I went to a supermarket recently. This one supermarket is called Wegmans but that doesn't matter because the problem is not local to one. I couldn't believe my eyes when I went to buy bottled spring water. The label read "Fluoride To Go" Really? We need to ingest extra fluoride? In bottled water? A toxic chemical? Interesting logic... Is anybody here not getting enough fluoride? And could you please share with us the benefits of getting extra fluoride in your diet? Guest guest
Many years ago - when I still had teeth - the dentist who was treating me gave me a bottle of fluoride mouth wash as I left - I gave it back explaining that I didn't use fluoride, well not sodium fluoride anyway - the nurse seemed agitated and asked me to wait - she came back with a sample tube of fluoride toothpaste - I just wonder what the medical and dental students are actually taught about sodium fluoride - after all I've been fighting its removal from the public system since the early 60's. Now Calcium Fluoride is another matter - but I still can't figure the logic behind the sodium version - can you?
