Just do a search Kenneth, this is for real, very real in fact. I have a friend who nearly lost their arm because of such a bite. Snopes used to be awful, I even got a warning on my firewall about them being spammy, but they have cleaned up their act, I no longer get warnings, but I always do intensive searches on such topics as this, yes it's been circulating for years, but the bite is horrendous. Requires immediate intervention to prevent serious damage. There are still people who dont' seem to be aware of the seriousness of such a bite. Just my 2 cents worth. Blessings.

Instead of chopping parts off , people could take large doses of

activated charcoal to absorb the toxins from the bite or use the stun

gun treatment and keep your body parts .

Homeopathic Ledum 30C should take care of the whole thing - then of course

it would not have been a Brown Recluse Spider would it.
