Guest guest
I have afriend who I am helping who has recently been diagnosed with ALS. I wanted to see if anyone has any advice or knowledge of this disease. He has had symptoms for at least 2 years before finally being diagnosed. Are there any medications that help this. He is in great pain. Do they ever use muscle relaxers?

Guest guest
I highly recommend that anyone with ALS or MS or other neurological disease read the book 'Eric is Winning' by Eric Edney. Through his extensive research and diet and lifestyle changes, he has beaten ALS. His story is remarkable and gives hope to all who suffer from ALS and other neurological diseases. , " proofofperfectionx3 " <proofofperfectionx3 wrote: > > I have afriend who I am helping who has recently been diagnosed with > ALS. Guest guest
You should have your friend tested for lyme disease. Most Dr's. don't understand Lyme and fail to test their patients for it. My husband started having symptoms in 1999 and diagnosed with ALS 4/2002. He was also diagnosed with Lyme 07/2002. Here is a link with my husbands story. It has a lot of great info. http://www.buckmasters.com/bm/Resources/ClassicBuckmasters/tabid/127/articleType/ArticleView/articleId/39/Dont-Lay-Down-And-Die.aspx
