Guest guest
You may probably have heard about the ACCORD and the ADVANCE studies of diabetics, recently published in New England Journal of Medicine, where near-normal glucose control, achieved with the use of combination therapy incorporating heavy use of various antidiabetic drugs, was associated with significantly increased risks of death from any cause and death from cardiovascular causes. Shouldn´t glucose control be important? Of course, but not by using a multitude of drugs but by eating the right food, eg by ignoring the official dietary guidelines and instead doing the opposite. If you doubt, read this: http://www.nutritionandmetabolism.com/content/pdf/1743-7075-5-9.pdf and please sign this petition, directed to the NIH: http://www.thepetitionsite.com/1/get-the-nih-to-acknowledge-the-existing-science-and-fund-more-research-by-the-experts-who-have Uffe Ravnskov
