U.S. Marshals Seize Animal Food Products Stored at PETCO Facility

At FDA's request, U.S. marshals seized various animal food products stored under unsanitary conditions at the PETCO Animal Supplies Distribution Center in Joliet, Ill. During an FDA inspection in April, inspectors found widespread and active rodent and bird infestation. The agency inspected the facility again in May and found continuing and widespread infestation.
