v The Pharmaceutical industry makes five times more profit than

any of the industries that of the Fortune 500 companies.

 

v The National Multiple Sclerosis Society and their chapters

receive approximately 80% of their funding from Pharmaceutical companies.

 

v Pharmaceutical companies pay for 40% ( I read it is 80%)of all

the television that you watch including ABC, CBS, NBC and CNN

 

v Pharmaceutical companies fund approximately 50% of the cost of

running 100% of all medical schools in this country

 

v Over 97% of compounded pharmaceutical medications performed no

better then placebo [sugar pills] in randomized controlled studies

 

v the largest independent study of the MS drugs done by the Royal

Society of Medicine in 2001 concluded that the MS drugs were no

better than sugar pills.
