Guest guest
Proto-DNA from Meteorites Kick-Started Life on Earth How life got started on Earth is still a big problem for scientists. The story goes something like this: "Well, there was this primordial soup of amino acids and stuff, then maybe there was some lightning, or something, and then ::mumble, mumble:: and then we had life." Awkward! But that awkwardness may be over: Research on the Murchison meteor, which landed in Australia in 1969, has found that the rock carried the building blocks of DNA on board. The finding puts panspermia firmly in the spotlight as a possible origin for life on Earth, and makes a lot more sense than that old tale of thunderstorms and arm-waving. http://www.rumormillnews.com/cgi-bin/forum.cgi?read=126355

Guest guest
I agree. Intelligent design as the bible says. People make it so difficult sometimes, although that information is interesting. That primordial soup was like what was on Jupiter to work. What was here on earth at the time would not have worked with that experiment. Too much of one thing and not enough of another. I forget the specifics. And the amino acids never developed into complete proteins so that theory has been discarded, I thought, although it may still be in the school books. jp >I think the BIBLE tell's us how..... > --- Lynda Brasier <susoni wrote: > >> Proto-DNA from Meteorites Kick-Started Life on Earth >> >> How life got started on Earth is still a big problem for scientists. Guest guest
Whenever I see something on evolution I understand its an industry and if some lies or invalid research are not pushed on the public the researchers can't get grant money. However, I believe it's the worst pagan doctrine to take Jehovah's God's name from his creation. Furthermore, anyone debating the issue would lose because it has no facts. One of England's most eminent astronomers, Sir Bernard Lovell, wrote of his " rapturous amazement at the harmony of natural law, which reveals an intelligence of such superiority that, compared with it, all the systematic thinking and acting of human beings is an utterly insignificant reflection. " I've enjoyed teaching the issue for years based on science. To believe in this nonsense you would have to ignore scientific laws. In fact, they tried to get the teaching of creation in schools here in Georgia years ago but the teachers didn't know how to teach it based on science. So they called in the scientists who couldn't do it either. A justice who my husband had taught asked my husband who is an expert on the issue to teach the scientists so they could teach the teachers. I believe the bill would have gone through except they got into religion. Don had told them to stick to the scientific issue. For instance, just consider that in a living cell 1/1,000 inch in diameter are as many as 200 trillion molecules around a nucleus 1/4000 inch in diameter. Within are the nucleic acids, RNA/DNA which contain data sufficient to fill, if written out, a thousand 600 page books. Chemical reactions transact at the rate of thousands per second; manufacturing, communication, reproduction, digestion, excretion, and these involve hundreds of enzymes which the cell itself produces constantly. You, you the collection of 100 trillion such cell-universes, are invested with miraculous conscious intelligence. To deny this evidence of astonishing design and ingenuity is a problem of psychologic prejudice, not one of logic! Living cells are in a state of dynamic disequilibrium, like a racing cyclist leaning into a curve; if he stops he falls. Until these trillions of molecules designed into billions of structures are convened and assembled, then kick-started into life, they're only a complicated decomposing chemistry set. The blind-chance probability of this event occurring spontaneously is many times smaller than ONE divided by the total number of atoms in the universe! To assert that these intricate, elaborate and fragile sub-cellular chemicals somehow produced themselves, then assembled in the precise order required for life is simply mysticism. There is the area of thermodynamic considerations. The SECOND LAW is that all systems tend to the lowest state of information and maximum entropy, all systems go downhill. Fling ten thousand checkers into the air, then examine how they fell. Some will lie neatly, one upon the other. Here and there you may even find a stack of three or four, but it's quite improbable. Now, carefully, start to stack them yourself. Can you stack ten, twenty, three hundred? There comes a point when further accumulation always produces collapse. You cannot stack 300 checkers, nor 300 amino acids, they'll always fall apart. All calculations as to the thermodynamic point of equilibrium of complex biochemicals demonstrate that they would decompose faster than they could assemble, so there was never a warm organic soup. The chemicals required for life would never accumulate in a million infinites - they would merely dissolve. The creation of life requires that ingredients be formed simultaneously and instantaneously in the same place. The difference of a few moments would find the early arrivals already disintegrated and useless! Yes, evolution is not only the single greatest false doctrine in our society, but it is also the most idiotic. For life must be kick-started with the breath of life or life cannot exist. I'll end with part of a poem my husband wrote: If every house a Maker has, Does not a tree or blade of grass Or butterfly or crimson flower Disclose a Supernatural Power? Who paints the sunsets, raises mountains, Waters earth with living fountains! Who flings the stars and scents the breeze With sweet perfume from fruited trees All shout in praise their Maker's Fame Jehovah, God of Hosts, His Name! Now do not rip this Name, so Grand From all the wonders of His Hand Whose loving gift to you and me An everlasting destiny! Or do you choose man's science, proud, Whose gift to us, the mushroom cloud, Would take God's Name from rightful place and steal the future of our race? Guest guest
--- you have god within you attached to you only you havent examined yourself well enough gone deep enough to know it the connection is within you dont even look on the outside world for god and no one dies just their physical body ...... again you say all these things because you dont know yourself much you have to know who you are what you are and why you are here , to do what in this lifetime and all these questions and answers are within you is the time for yu to become a little bit more enlightened now if soGetting to know you ,getting to know all there is about you A title of a song but never the less something we all have to do at some stage is get to know your self Written high in solid stone in Egypt are the immortal words Know thyself It is also said that some people would sooner face an entire army than get to know thyself So for some it is very difficult, for many it will take some chrisis to come into ther life to force them selves to look a them selves. But from which ever direction you have come from sooner or later you will have to know your self .You may be among the number of eople who have been going around not knowing what they want chasing this job or another going down this carear path for years to find it is not what you real y wanted. The sooner you do it I think the better , saves time ,wasting thousands of pounds etc etc. So when you start to dig into your self expect to find things you do not like nearly every one of us has got these things , what matters is you recognize them and wish them to be changed and make steps to change these different aspects of our selves. Ok this little piece is realy not designed to help you get to the place where you want to uncover you , but to give you the tools to help it easier to uncover you. You and you worts and all. I think we have all done many many foolish things and all behaved like idiots, accept this fact for I do not know anyone who has not made mistakes, some realy big ones too. And loads of us have qualities that we may abhor and would wish to change and we may have inflicted pain on others too and would want to make amends for that too. By the very name our species has human is almost synonymous with child and children make mistakes loads of them. It is one of the ways of how we learn. You may want to share this exercise with someone else or keep it to your very own self Some of the tools It took me 3 ish days of soul searching to uncover bits of me, that means sitting down with a pad and pen for 2-4 hrs at a time and working with me. So set some time aside for this task , it is very very important . Accept this is going to take some time and if your mind tries to flit off onto something else just bring it back to where and on what you want it to dwell . Now the setting Very important Somewhere you feel reasonably at ease tele off radio off phone off kids away etc. Peace a pen and plenty of paper. Welcome to you Ok its back to child hood only though if there are not too many painful memories. What can you remember at age 1234 Can you remember the events of those times, what you were like the things you wore the experiences you had how you were as a person . how playful. Do you remember where you lived Your mum and dad what were they like Your brothers and sisters how and what did you feel with them What did you feel up to the age of 5 Were you loved Anything about those times you did not like Family members ,friends Ok now we move on to school time your first day what did you feel on those first days Then 5678 What can you remember about school Can you remember the buildings your school class mates how did you interact with them Were you accepted In , " Craig Rawlings " <craig wrote: > > So who created God? > > This magic person who waved a magic wand and created life, that no one has > seen or witnessed first hand, who kills innocent children at will? > > I thought the discussion of religion was banned from this site. > > Craig > > On Tue, Jun 17, 2008 at 12:12 AM, Dr. Betty Martini,D.Hum. < > bettym19 wrote: > > > Gen 2:7 " And Jehovah God proceeded to form the > > man out of dust from the ground and to blow into > > his nostrils the breath of life, and the man came > > to be a living soul.
