Aspartame Nuro-Toxin is in drinks

Our health food store sells liquid stevia drops, both plain and flavored, and I had been using it for quite a while in my coffee (plain, vanilla, english toffee, and chocolate). I have long tried to get myself off of diet soda and while I had cut down, I hadn't completely been able to stop. I crave that carbonation. Finally I decided to buy plain sparkling water and add the liquid stevia....I had noticed that it also came in orange, grape, lemon and root beer. I've been drinking this instead, for the past 2 weeks or so, when I crave a soda. It isn't quite the same, no, but it tastes pretty good and it definitely satisfies the need for carbonation. I haven't been *completely* off aspartame for these two weeks, since we were out one day and I broke down and got a diet Dr Pepper (my absolute favorite and the stevia doesn't come in Dr Pepper flavor)...but I am going to try and do better and stay COMPLETELY off the aspartame. Oh if anybody tries this....be sure to try the vanilla stevia in the sparkling water...it tastes like creme soda :-)
