Guest guest
hi i would like to know what i can do for my digestion. i take digestive enzymes but i would like to get off of them. if i dont take them i find every thing i eat seems to stay on my chest, like i need to belch all the time & the lower part of my stomach hurts.if i take enzymes i am fine. i eat pretty good, not all raw veggies but some. some cooked veggies like sweet potatoes, no processed foods or sweets. very little meats. maybe a liter of water per day. but i noticed if i have very little water per day, only a glass or two i dont feel too bad. years ago i used to drink allot on weekends but only have 4-5 beer nowadays, (maybe the drinking has screwed my digestion) anyway i would like some suggestions, there must be a way to fix this. thanks lar
Guest guest
Raw foods Lar.You only get digetive enzymes from raw vegetables and from raw meats.Of course raw meats can be dangerous. It is either you consume raw veggies before and with meals or you continue with the digestive enzymes supplements.Check out the book by Lee Euler " The Missing Ingredient For Good Health " and good luck to you. Guest guest
I find that probiotics work wonders, either in pill form or from yogurt and kefir. , " lawrence " <marcelhy wrote: > > hi i would like to know what i can do for my digestion. > i take digestive enzymes but i would like to get off of them. > if i dont take them i find every thing i eat seems to stay > on my chest, like i need to belch all the time & the lower > part of my stomach hurts.if i take enzymes i am fine. > i eat pretty good, not all raw veggies but some. some cooked > veggies like sweet potatoes, no processed foods or sweets. > very little meats. maybe a liter of water per day. but i noticed > if i have very little water per day, only a glass or two i dont > feel too bad. years ago i used to drink allot on weekends but only > have 4-5 beer nowadays, (maybe the drinking has screwed my digestion) > anyway i would like some suggestions, there must be a way to fix this. > thanks > lar >

Guest guest
Lar - why do you want to get off the enzymes? You need plant-based enzymes to replace what you are cooking out of your food. Any time you heat a food to 112 deg., you are killing all the enzymes in that food, so plant-based enzymes will replace those you kill off. Unless you eat totally raw foods all the time, you do need those enzymes to help digest the cooked foods. Also - probiotics will help with digestion. Guest guest
What would you recommend for a colon cleaning? I am currently using " Super Colon Cleanse " . I think the stuff I am taking right now are more fiber pills then anything else. Guest guest
There's another booklet that is great re: enzymes, called " Don't Dine Without Enzymes " by Viktoras Kulvinskas. (He actually developed a plant-based enzyme product, along with food scientist Dr. Khem Shahani.)
