Guest guest
I totally believe the damage that cell phones cause. However, what's our alternative in a cell phone world? Our family has made it this far without cell phones, but because of job situations and safety issues we're just going to have to get them. I don't really know what else to do. , Bea Bernhausen <beabernhausen wrote: > > This is your brain on cellphones.... > > > http://freepage.twoday.net/stories/4969270/ >
Guest guest
If it is impossible to avoid having to have one, perhaps looking at using it sensibly would be the best option: My suggestions are: - Never wear the mobile anywhere on your body - shirt pocket, pockets in trousers, or on waist belt; - whenever possible, when not in use, have it at least 3 ft away from the body - if possible, use text message facility instead of dialing and speaking on the phone. - keep calls on mobile as short as possible.. use it as an emergency gadget, not for social calls or endless chatting. The suggestions above is how I minimise my use of the phone and having it too close to body. Any other suggestions anyone? we could perhaps come up with a great list re how to minimise the negative impact of these frying units (short of doing without them). Guest guest
Telepathy? I admire you for going this long without them tho. Short use in emergencies is all I ever use them for - I can't see short use when essential is going to kill us - but i did stop my gardener from wearing his in his breast pocket right over his heart the other day. As an on-call nurse I don't see any other options either - well not that my boss would agree to - like me ringing in from a patient's phone everytime I'm there.
