Cancer cells love sugar, so eliminate ALL forms of sugar from your diet (including artificial sweeteners). Also change your diet over to alkaline foods. You can do a search for alkaline vs. acid foods. Eliminate simple carbs. Here's a great article I have about cancer - Cancer's Wake Up Call By Mauris L. " Hippocrates If someone has cancer (no matter where it manifests in the body) it is an indication that three things, all relating to the body's metabolism, need to be corrected at the earliest possible date: ** First, the body's chemistry needs to be made less acidic and more alkaline. ** Secondly, cancer is a way of telling us that our body lacks certain protein digesting enzymes. It is an urgent call to stop eating for an extended period of time animal protein (especially beef, pork, chicken, turkey, lamb, etc.) as well as refined sugar (including honey), and refined grains. Cancer cells thrive on simple sugars and simple carbohydrates. Think of this disease as a compelling invitation to eat more fresh foods, raw fruits and vegetables, sprouts, complex carbohydrates, and particularly deep green leafy vegetables all of which introduce vitally important enzymes and normalize then body chemistry. A renowned embryologist, Dr. John Beard, discovered in the late 1800s that cancer is allowed to manifest when the body is deficient in certain protein digesting enzymes, especially the enzymes called trypsin and chymotrypsin. ** Thirdly, cancer calls on us to address a deficiency of oxygen in and around our body cells. Dr. Otto Warburg won the Nobel Prize in medicine in the early 1930s for discovering that healthy cells are unable to thrive and generate energy when there is a scarcity of oxygen at the cellular level. He found that whenever our cells are oxygen-starved, this causes them to become more acidic and generate energy through a process called fermentation; in doing so, this creates lactic acid, thus making the body more acidic (hence, more cancer prone) and less alkaline. Healthy cells breathe oxygen. Unlike cancerous cells, healthy cells do not generate energy through fermentation. We, therefore, need to find ways to expose our cells to a lot more oxygen. In addition to diet, it is important to spend time outdoors, get the benefit of the sunshine's vitamin D, and sleep by a window with the window cracked so as to bring in more oxygen. The good news: All three of the points just mentioned can be successfully addressed not with drugs like chemotherapy and radiation, but with diet, exercise, and stress reducing measures. Raw fruits and vegetables make the body less acidic and more alkaline. Eating animal protein like meat, chicken, and dairy makes the body heavily acidic, and it further depletes the body's already scarce supply of important protein-digesting enzymes. Someone with cancer will almost always lack protein digesting enzymes. On the other hand, fresh fruits and vegetables (especially uncooked) introduce much needed enzymes into the body. In this regard, some fruits and vegetable are more important than others for someone with cancer. I refer particularly to the fruits papaya, pineapple, mangos, wild berries like black berries, raspberries, blueberries; and deep green leafy vegetables like collard greens, kale, turnip greens, mustard greens. In addition to their live enzymes, the fresh deep green vegetables are loaded with chlorophyll which essentially enhances the body's oxygen carrying capacity thus exposing the cells to more oxygen and making them less acidic and more alkaline (i.e. healthy). As we do these things, we're also strengthening the immune system, which is a most important consideration when facing the challenge of cancer. Strengthen the Immune System, Be Determined to Pursue Diet If someone sincerely wants to reverse cancer (as opposed to merely eliminating the malignant tumor symptom) they need to " bite the bullet " and commit uncompromisingly to diet. To be sure, it may require a lot of discipline, but the reward is that it can bring about a biological terrain where cancer simply CANNOT survive. Note, also, that the more the cancer is advanced, the more aggressive one has to be with diet and exercise (because exercise also helps oxygenate the cells). For example, drink 3 to 5 ounces of fresh squeezed deep green leafy vegetable juice every 3 hours for one to two months; eat a papaya and a half of pineapple daily to introduce vital protein digesting enzymes that dissolve the protein coating from around the cancer cells so the immune system can finally " see " the cancer cells and target them for destruction. Maintain a Healthy Sense of Self Obviously, cancer is a serious health condition; but cancer is not your life, it is not the essence of who you are. So let us not allow cancer to define who we are. Our sense of self should be that we are spirit, made in God's likeness and image. We must not allow our minds to attach to the notion that " I have cancer " or that " I am a cancer patient " . You are a child of God, even though you may be challenged by a condition called cancer. And truly you can meet that challenge by aggressively pursuing a diet of mainly live plant-based foods and by living a lifestyle that makes the body less acidic, and more enzyme and oxygen rich. In such an environment, cancer is unable to thrive in the body. Moreover, it is not about " battling " or " fighting " cancer. When you fight something you first have to engage it, and that automatically gives it a degree of power. We do not want to empower cancer in anyway. In Summary If you're looking for an answer to cancer, look no further. Your body already has the answer. You simply have to unlock the healing power that resides in your body; and to do that you have to place less emphasis on treating the symptom of cancer and focus more on nourishing the body in a way that shuts down the underlying cancerous process. To that end, it is very important to: 1.) follow a diet and exercise routine that makes the body less acidic and more alkaline (because cancer cells can only thrive where the body chemistry is highly acidic); 2.) eat foods that introduce protein digesting enzymes into your body (because these enzymes help the immune system identify and destroy cancer cells); 3.) eat lots of uncooked deep green leafy vegetables, they make the body chemistry less acidic and more alkaline and they also increase the body's oxygen-carrying capacity (and cancer cells CANNOT live in an oxygen-rich environment); 4.) last but not least, we must be ever vigilant to do things that strengthen the immune system, which is arguably the most powerful cancer curing machine that the body has. Since cancer (any cancer) is basically a metabolic illness, what we have to do is to change our body's chemistry by creating a more healthy biological terrain so that cancer cannot thrive there.
