Guest guest
Coca-Cola to phase out use of controversial additive after DNA damage claim. It would be nice if while they are at it they would get rid of High Fructose Corn syrup, as well as reduce the sug content of a coke. I guess I quit drinking them 30 or 40 yrs ago.. At that ttime they were too sweet. Has anyone noticed the bread almost all have High Fructose Corn Syrup in them. It makes shopping kind of time consuming. However I have found out that a lot of people do not want it in their food period. sharon If anyone lives near Trader Joe's, they have good bread, with their name on it.Get trade secrets for amazing burgers. Guest guest
Apologies in advance (I may have seen it here) but does anybody make their own bread? Are those bread machines worthwhile? Anyway I saw an article which said the best bread was homemade sourdough, with homemade yeast culture. Guest guest
Yes Bill, I do make my own, gluten free, and prefer to use the old fashioned tins. It is believed that the lining of the bread machines are coated with teflon and when heated will release a poisonous gas, something fluoride. I have to find the article here, somewhere hidden on my hard drive. Haven't googled for it as yet, but fluoride connection with the teflon is something to keep in mind.
