The New Republic Magazine (stories with holes galore)

This new republic magazine is "politics on the edge" their main purpose is to sell magazines. As far as I can see lots of the stuff they are writing about is not provable or off the wall which makes them no better than the National Enquirer to my way of thinking. We are thinking intelligent people, we need to show discernment folks, it's all about choices and reality. I'm not sure this magazine even comes close. Be careful what you support and buy into. There is so much crap on the internet. You must cross reference your sources and be able to prove things out. I could not do this with this material. Politics on the edge equates to "on and more lies" just my humble opinion.

 

What does this have to do with health and healing? On this groups website it is clearly stated:

I joined because I believed it to be an alternative health group. Some days it is. Is this why will not allow this site in the alternative health section? I'm not trying to upset anyone, just wish we were more centered on alternative health instead of political agendas. Cheers.

Micki, i am not sure how you can separate " political agendas " from

" alternative health " If you are not aware of political agenda against

alternative medicine, you need to know.

 

Why are we here? Because the doctors do not know (or can not tell you)

how to heal. So we have forums like this to support one another.

 

This agenda (against alternative medicine) also happens to be a part

of larger agenda, knowing of which will help us better learn and share

the knowledge.

 

We talk about searching for the cause of disease, and we also explore

other dimensions of disease, such as emotional or mental.

 

By the same reason, it is useful IMO to explore the cause (reason,

motivation, etc.) of this disease of our society.

 

Our society is sick. by talking about it, perhaps we can understand

the root cause and help one another to heal our collective selves.

 

Nobody here complains when we talk about medical conspiracy. Why?

because we all know it is true! Outside of this group, they will think

i am nuts if i tell them about it.

 

Likewise, there is more to the suppression of natural medicine - it is

a part of a larger agenda. If you take the time to study the root

cause of the medical conspiracy (which we call recognize) you will

find another can of worms much more sinister.

 

If you think any discussion of such is out of line, then with the same

logic, speaking of mental cause of physical disease is also out of line.

 

In short, they are all related. You do not have to agree with anything

posted by anyone about anything, you should not judge others' opinions

just because you have not taken the time to study the subject.

I could sort of concur with that. You have to free your body and your mind.

It's all connected. And what better way to learn about subjects you don't

know much about than by connecting it to something you do know about? In

the end you can better understand what you were trying to learn about in the

first place by understanding the big picture. Alternative health is about

staying healthy today and the political issues are about staying healthy

tomorrow by keeping your health freedom.

I hope I am not speaking out of place responding to your message

Micki

and I am sure the moderators will step in if I say the wrong thing

here.

I am not going into the politics and health connection (even though that

is a personal belief that both are).

As you know, this group has archives which are open to any member of this

group as soon as you . . These archives are there to peruse at

your leisure, either to look up any topic you are after, or, and

that is a purpose many don't seem to use it for, to get a

'feel' of what a group is about, what subjects they discuss,

and the topics allowed. If you go back into the archives you would

have noticed that we are pretty much health and healing related and 'go

off the rails' so to speak on a regular basis but always come

back.

It might have picked up just a little after the group Medical

Conspiracies disappeared, like totally disintegrated and

nobody has any idea where it went. This happened some time

ago. A lot of the members of that group were also in the

H & H group and as a result of this Houdinini act of that group we

moved a lot of our topics here.

Perhaps we could ask the moderators to review the introduction on

the homepage . This would of course settle it for all those that

have not thought of going back in the archives.

I have been a member of many groups, and still am of many but my

first thought at joining any group is: find out what the

group is about and although the introduction is a rough guide, my

experience is that the archives tell the real story. So yes,

subscribing to a group gives you access to get to know them.

How that is going to feel later on (too much off topic - what I consider

off topic, too many allopathic solutions, if not only. Just

straight out bitching is another that happens in groups.) There are

zillions of reasons to join, and un-join a group. Most important

part is that you feel at home.

We do have many health topics here, either directly or indirectly

related. Advice can't be given other then personal

experiences unless you are a qualified practitioner in your field.

Got to watch the trolls from government agencies which we do have lurking

everywhere.

Ok, I shut up now, back to my wake-up cuppa.

I concur with your writing. Unbeknown to people,

most people anyway, health care is nothing but

politics and getting worth by the day. Wait till

the Codex Alimentarius is fully implemented. And

if Obama gets his way, there will be a form of

socialised medicine for all, with not many

choices left. People will be the folks as you

can see in 1984 Orson Welles, or read in

Huxley's book.. The Brave New World.

 

The body's ills and ailments are very closely

linked up with our mental/emotional state. We

are our own person but too many rules and

regulations are trying very hard to get you back

in your box. Mind control and people don't notice it.
