~~Any suggestions to helping reduce the swelling? It makes the skin of my neck itch and causes me to cough at times. If I had a syringe I would have poked at it myself, it hurts that much. So anything you throw my way is greatly appreciated.~~

You might want to try DMSO, Use a 50/50 solution of DMSO & Aloe Vera. This does sound like a lymph node. When I was your age mine would swell up and act this way. I use DMSO for everything these days. It's nothing short of miraculous. You can even take it internally with V8. Cheers.

Did you try Dr Christopher's combo of Lobelia and Mullen.
