Quality Stevia is good the lesser is a bit bitter - I am using Just Like

Sugar (URL of the same name) and like it and the blurb I read about it - I

am also using Agave Nectar which is also very pleasant.

No, far from it. If you chew on a piece of sugar cane that's growing in a field, that's natural. But the way it is processed, with removing all the good stuff, bleaching, etc., it ends up very unnatural. Anything that is so highly processed is not natural.CarolKenneth <plisca wrote: Okay, silly me but I always thought that "sugar" was natural. Kenneth T

Edgar Cayce said beet sugar was the least taxing on the body. My thinking

is anything brown (unrefined) is better than anything white because it still

contains the trace minerals (which is part of what your body is craving when

you crave sweets) I've tried a few things and I'm partial to agave nectar or

honey. Of course honey doesn't dissolve in cold cereal very well. And if

you can't live without sugar maybe you have some intestinal worms calling

the shots. FEEEED MEEEE!!

I've used xylitol in the past because I think it tastes the best. I

don't use it that often because it costs so much. It's made from corn

cobs and birch trees so I believe it's pretty natural.

I'm sure there will be people here with thoughts on this??

Xylitol seemed very chemical to me and gave me appalling diarrhoea - i rang

the company and discussed this with them and they sent me some more in

compensation which I found very strange - perhaps they thought I'd try

again - but there didn't seem to be any point!
