One of my patients has a lovely wife who has greatly increased mitral valve failure/leakage over the last two weeks - does anyone have any alternative remedies which might help her - she is languishing at home while a few surgeons are contempleting treatment - she is very weak - a lovely positive, strong and intelligent woman usually - you would never guess she is 77 and was vigourously gardening up until last week.

THanks for any help you can give or any recommendations you can make ..............

Best,

Jane

Hi Jane,

I market an all natural herbal pill that is designed specifically to improve heart health. It is also vegan.

It's called Heart Remedy and you can find it on my web site:

I used to have been diagnosed with mitral valve prolapse.

I just did all my cleanses, fixed my diet to raw, avoided pollutants,

did nurturing, etc.

Mitral Valve prolapse cured.

Doctor said I must have been mis-diagnosed.

Bull. I was cured.

Co-enzyme Q-10 is essential. Bodies stop making after 20's.

All my friends with MVP have been symptom-free with fairly regular

use.

It is not a drug. Take it especially when fluttering occurs. It is

expensive therefore most don't take, or find the need for it everyday.

Another idea that works to stop the erratic, opening and closing of

the valve, is pure vitamin E. Not the pharma-type. I would suggest a

real health food store that carries high-grad herbs. Could tell you

the cleanest form of E.

Some with MVP, swear by the hawthorne herb, yet I do know a couple

people that seem allergic to it.

Magnesium is important, and for many other things. I know a girl who

was told that her MVP wasn't dangerous, yet she would eventually need

the valve replaced in ten years. She was diagnosed at 25, not wanting

the surgery, she started taking vitamin E and magnesium. The symptoms

disappeared. Later she added CoQ10 for heart strengthening.

Good Luck, and God Bless,

May

LOL @ your message Edwin! I also was cured of a myriad of health problems by switching to an all natural organic diet of as many raw foods and fruits and vegetables as I could eat in as many different ways of eating them I could come up with. Cooking is my passion although I would never want to do it for a "job". 6 of my closest friends have just pursueded me to finally write a cookbook about this - I have created some pretty exotic recipes that are not only healthy, but surprisingly easy to make and very low cost as well. I can't think of a person who wouldn't want that, except those who still refuse to change their ways and don't give a hoot if they chow down on an awesome blossom (fried onion: 4,000 calories at chili's).

For me, breakfast is fruit and yogurt every day, except the weekend in which I eat high fiber cereals and baked goods.

Lunch for me is a salad with either chicken or tuna on it and only olive oil and basalmic vinegar for dressing.

Snacks are all raw vegetables, nuts, yogurt, or fruit only.

Dinners are seafood plus steamed vegetables. When I'm naughty, I eat a little couscous too.

I started walking 2 miles every morning with my ipod and my dog - this I found was the cure for stress!

I drink a detox tea every night from Arbonne. I just turned 40 and I've never felt better.
