Hi Roxanne,

I had a client a few years ago with a very similar situation.... she

was diabetic and had a foot ulcer that would not heal. she had been

to some of the best MDs in Los Angeles and had tried lots of creams,

lotions, etc. Her feet were open, raw sores when she was carried

into my office.

We soaked her feet for about 1.5 hours in a bucket of " Tecopa Clay "

(scientifically known as Sodium Bentonite). Then we really cleaned

the wounds well with hydrogen peroxide (Sodium Bentonite is sterile

and there was no real danger of infection but still, we took no

chances). Finally, the bottom of the feet were completely coated,

especially inside the ulcers, with plain old Desitin ointment (also

known as A & D ointment ... I prefer the type with cod liver oil,

etc.) Then, each foot was carefully wrapped in saran wrap to keep it

clean and a fresh sock slipped over the saran wrap.

This client called me a couple of weeks later. She said that the

feet began growing new skin within 3 days and continued to heal.

This treatment will not cure your diabetes but it could very possibly

heal your foot ulcers.

Also useful for MRSA and standard STAPH infections... The Sodium

Bentonite should be taken internally, one tablespoon to a large glass

of fresh water, stirred, drunk as a suspension. For more information

please see www.Eytonsearth.com, www.magneticclay.com,

antibiotics, different creams, ointments, soaks. I am diabetic but

keep my numbers controlled. I am just wondering if there is anything

else I can try before surgery to remove bone in hopes of taking

pressure off of the spot. I really don't want to have to do that.

This is great information, but I have a few questions.

How long was this first application left on?

Was this treatment repeated, daily, every other day, or done just once?

What was done as the skin began growing to protect it?

Thanx,

Kat, RN

Thank you for your reply...question tho--how much sodium bentonite do you put in the foot soak??? and would it be help to take it internally as well for the ulcer? Thanks!!! Hi Roxanne,

Please check out www.eytonsearth.com, an educational site about

therapeutic clays.

Sodium bentonite comes in a very fine powdered form from some of the

sites listed yesterday. When mixed with good clean water, it turns

into goopy clay, like the clay you would use for a facial mask

(though not the same in properties). That is the consistency you are

looking for. Goopy. You can mix it in a clean paint bucket or foot

bath and just wiggle your toes in the mud for a couple of hours. Or,

you can use much less and soak clean cotton fabric in it and wrap

your foot in it. The point is, get it on the ulcer nice and thick

and goopy. It needs to stay wet to be most effective. I've even

applied it really thickly directly to wounds and then wrapped the

limb in saran wrap to just keep it moist and clean.

Good luck. Karin

Hi Kat,

This was a one time treatment. I urged the client to repeat at home,

but she reported later that she did not. She said that she simply

went home, kept renewing the desitin on the open wound and observed

new skin growing in 3 days.

That's everything I know about this case ... but have heard hundreds

of amazing stories from others out here in the desert where this

Sodium Bentonite is mined. Also please note that University of

Buffalo and University of Toronto (??) are doing very active research

on Sodium Bentonite as a cure for MRSA. As I understand it, the

healing properties of the clay are due to it's ionic composition.
