The South direction is associated with the region of Death (Yamaloka),

the subtle basic raja-tama frequencies and distress. When we sleep

with our feet facing the South direction the vibrations from the

Yamaloka (region of Death) and Paataal (region of Hell) join together.

Due to this we attract the subtle basic raja-tama frequencies or

ghosts. Due to the combined effect of the above when we sleep with our

feet facing the South, we can suffer distress in the form of

difficulty in falling asleep, nightmares, feeling scared in sleep or

waking up in fear.

I thought Feng Shui dictates sleeping North (head) South (feet) for magnetic reasons? Anyone have info on this? Also at the same time if this below is so--then wouldn't having your head to the south open you up even more to the vibrations from these beings?spiritualdxb <spiritualdxb wrote: The South direction is associated with the region of Death (Yamaloka),the subtle basic raja-tama frequencies and distress. Nevertheless because the iron in the blood travels more smoothly when the

body lies in a North South orientation people often feel better doing this

Yes, it is my understanding that we want to sleep with Head North, to

align with the earth magnetic field. Head east/west is neutral, and

Head South is the worst... as it is opposite to earth current. i hope

this helps... Love, Kris
