This has reference to DOCTOR HELD FOR CANCER CURE CLAIM report

in today's HT (page 5).

 

At the outset let me make it very clear that I am NOT connected with Lavanya

Ayurveda or Anjali Mukherjee. But what concerns me is the fact that Indian FDA is going in the rotten footsteps of the American FDA and killing our age old Ayurvedic

medicine under the disguise of Magic Remedies Act.

 

It is a fact that Cancer, Diabetes, Asthma, AIDS, Parkinsonism, Muscular Dystrophies

and all the so-called incurable diseases can be cured by Holistic Healing modalities.

 

Right to Know is one of the seven rights enshrined in the consumer protection act.

Therefore, when someone shows a Ray of Hope to Cancer patient and his family,

to book a doctor who offers hope and saves the patient from the Cancer Con Scientists,

who have nothing better to offer than chemotherapy, radiation or surgery does not

amount to cheating but educating people in the right direction. To say Cancer has

no cure and yet to prescribe costly and deleterious carcinogenic Chemotherapy is

the biggest con which has to stop. Or else we will go the American way, where

Chemotherapy is the OFFICIAL therapy for cancer and anyone prescribing any other medicine

or modality is arrested or license withdrawn. Right to Health is akin to Right to

Life and it is MY right. The state has no business to interfere in that, like the State

cannot tell me what to eat, which language to speak, which temple to go, which

holy book to read, where to reside, what profession to follow, etc.

 

I do not know why Ayurveda and other Holistic healing experts are keeping

quiet over this wanton abuse of power by ignorant FDA headed by mindless

bureaucrats who had earlier harassed Anjali Mukherjee for claiming that she can

cure obesity. Ofcourse it can be cured.

 

I am thinking of challenging the Constitutional validity of the Magic remedies act

which was put in place from back door by the Pharma mafia to destroy our age old

Ayurveda, Siddha, Nature Cure, Yoga etc. (all recognised systems of medicine

in India).
