A nurse I was visiting professionally told me her aunt gave up on the 17 month visiting nurse and cured her leg ulcers herself in 2 weeks soaking them in a weak Lux solution in warm water. My boss wouldn't let me try it on a patient of my own so I tried it on a patietns wife and sure enough in the two weeks I had to visit him for injections I soaked her leg and ulcer and it was almost healed in that time after 9 months of Drs visits getting bigger each week - he was very pleased - I swore her to secrecy. Although I do have a fairly enquiring mind I dont think knwoing how it works helps me or the patient so I just do it and if it works I keep doing it and if it doesn't I try something else - you know how it is Kraig! I don't mean with life threatening thing here, you understand, of course. BTW the smell reminds me of Christmas - when i was a child my father used to use the egg beater to whip up Lux soap flakes and baking soda to make a thick white foam which he spread on the branches of our Christmas tree to look like snow - I can smell it now - conifer and soap flakes - delicious! Jane > jane, what is " lux " soap? ..what makes it work so well and what's in > it > if you know? is it a down under creation? Kraig

Guest guest
Sorry Kraig and Jane, ignore this post of mine, has nothing to do with Lux flakes (even though I still have a box here)... just got sent to the group by accident. Hanneke I might try and found out who is the real wholesaler of this product in USA. I understand this guy in NC is a retailer.
