Guest guest
I asked about teeth and cleaning and dental stuff yesterday I seemed to have a reaction to the 'hygene' treatment I received yesterday and wondered why........ basically all that was done was a scrape clean and polish I had NO cavities etc and the entire proceedure took less than 10 minutes. The dentist was informed that I had latex sensitivity so used latex free gloves.... and I was puzzled about my reaction, which struch witin ten minutes of leaving the cghair and arriving home.. Seems there are a number of other gluten sensitive people on the www who also react to whatever mixture of subtances are in the 'paste' a dentist uses to polish clients toothie! I am NOT alone...... probably not caused by pumice but by other compounds in the mixture.... fillers etc....... Buyer Beware again! Clare in Tassie who does not use commercial toothpaste at home..... because of fillers that cause reactions and fluoride which is poision! Guest guest
Hi Clare, Man sounds like you had quite the reaction to your teeth cleaning. I would have to guess that it is some sort of chemical in the polish that would give you that kind of reaction. Yes I changed from commercial tooth paste and mouth wash, and would never go back. A couple of things that I found that is in most tooth paste is sugar or some sort of sweetener, and formaldehyde. Formaldehyde is a cheap preservative that is used in a lot of home and personal care products, and it is a know cancer causer. I love the ones I have changed to, just went last week for a cleaning, and had hardly any plaque on my teeth. I used to have quite a bit of plaque, so I know this is working better for me.
