For instance...the heat in Nebraska ( & I've seen stats from S.D., undoubtedly TX would have them too)... the stench is terrible even in the winter but in summers it is unbearable & the animals are confined in it, breathing it in, through the lungs, AND DIE from it. I've attached the links to a couple past articles from the Nebraska StatePaper com site with links to their archives .. showing 5000 cattle die one year in the heat & more another year .. etc. & these are just the tip of the heatwave inhumane deaths .. Our hearts hurt, our humanity suffers. It is not the good old family farm where the animals live in pasture, have shelter, water, no stench burning their lungs and at least are not cruelly treated till they are hauled off to market. I believe we humans are meant to eat meat, but we are ALSO meant to be respectful and compassionate to all other living species for our own good as well as theirs. I wish PETA luck on their turning Factory Farms to compassionate!! If they do it's almost the impossible. Joyce

Exactly! Everyone should be

working diligently if they live near one to shut it down, get EPA

involved, get anyone on the top involved, have the DNR out to test the

air quality, get them to test the ground water in the surrounding area,

every failed test is one more fine or one more notch against them!
