Was just curious.....was curious as well when my sister sent the stuff on

him a long while ago - even though she's an American, she doesn't live

politically.

Nothing wrong with being interested..............

of course what affects the US affects people around the world in some

ways.......can't see how everything does, but perhaps there is a

trickle-down effect. Don't know. Haven't made my mind up on that POV

yet.........Certain things, like say gun control (just off the top of my

head), or our welfare system, really don't have anything to do with other

nations per se.....

I've got to be the biggest proponent on the right to say what you think

you or anyone knows - I think I've been very consistent on that issue.

So, what I said in other posts, has nothing to do with not feeling anyone

has the right - in fact, I've been rather unpopular in the past precisely

because I feel people have the right. Please don't misunderstand my

aggravation with certain issues as meaning I don't think people can voice

their opinions. I don't think that. But, it seems only fair to me, that I

should be equally able to voice my opinion, even if it may go against

what the majority of people think.......

as far as R. Paul goes ..........he'd still have to either step down or

take a hiatus from congress - which might not sit too well with the

people that voted him into congress

According to CNN's account, March 12, 2008 McCain had 1325 delegates, R.

Paul had 21 delegates. When Romney and Huckabee stepped down, they gave

their delegates to McCain..........Curious to know where you got your

figures from...........To get the Republican nomination, McCain needed

1,192 delegates. He's got more, so from the standpoint of who is going to

be the Rep nominee, McCain has it in the bag. There is no way anyone

could get more, because of what the total number of delegates are. The

numbers are the numbers - like them or not........

And, even though R. Paul supporters are very adamant about him running,

the info that actually comes from his headquarters is sketchy on that

issue. regardless from what media - and I check a lot of different ones.

I rarely, if ever believe a thing that comes out the standard or most

commonly read media. I usually check a lot of other sources. So, I

suppose, time will tell. It's not that far off .............

Lynn

Lynn

Simple reason Lynn... Ron Paul

would be good for the world, not just good for the USA.

And I am not alone in this, if it were up to the world voters there

wouldn't be a doubt: Ron Paul would be the one.

Our boys and girls are deployed in the war regions too Lynn., as are many

other nationalities. Not as many, true, but they are there. Our economy

although doing better than what I glean about the one in USA is still

affected, people here are losing their homes too. Whatever goes

terribly wrong in USA has the ripple effect effecting the rest of

the world.

The day the US stops meddling in other countries that will be the

day citizens of the world will stay out of the politics.

With regard to giving more accurate information... Ron Paul

has roughly 300 delegates, McCain roughly 900, but final

nominee will be settled at the September convention. Lots is

happening.

Many of the primaries are only straw polls and do not decide the

delegates, but are decided in caucuses, all which has not even happened

yet.

Mainstream has taken the attitude of 'winner in a state takes all' .. not

all states work like that. MSM doesn't shy away from the bullying

reporting which makes everyone believe it in the end.

To find the real numbers you would have to look at each state's primary

results and then see if they do it by winner take all, percentage, or by

place. It would be tedious to accomplish, but maybe someone should do it,

so we can put this " McCain has won " crap to rest.

Reasons for Dr Paul cutting the numbers of staff is because he is a

genius in economics, knows how to spend every dollar to its greatest

value, unlike many of the other candidates who have overspent

beyond belief and still dropped out. Dr.Paul's budget was never as

huge as any of the others, and yet, he is still running and going

well, with cash on hand. The dedication of his support is

awesome.

Unfortunately I can't seem to find the link to the worldvoters site...

(if and when I do I will post it), but to give a little info about it:

Ron Paul has 63000 of the votes, Obama comes second... McCain had

900.

It takes a bit more effort to find the real deal and information but it

is out there.
