This is no different than voting for, say, who you think is sexier.....and, you can probably vote even more than once...DH actually started laughing when he looked at the site. Guest guest
I am not surprised he laughed at the notion of Internet poll... That's how mainstream media has been ridiculing Ron Paul and his supporters all along trying to marginalise Paul . Truth is, it has scared , and still is, the friggin' pants off them. They (within the GOP and the media) know very well that the supporters are real people, that Ron Paul is a real threat to the establishment. I guess on the positive side... good I was able to make your husband laugh... Now it is to be seen who will be laughing last........ And, maybe he even has a chance at the polls - I'm no seer, so I don't know. But, to think that an international internet poll has anything to do with what is going to happen here in the U.S. during the elections is just naive....no matter how badly you'd like to see it happen...I'm sorry - but that's just the reality of the situation. Seems to me, it's better to deal with the reality of what's going on here, in the U.S. in this regard...........no matter how much people who support R. Paul want it to be different. You said you've been working with grass-roots groups - I'm guessing you meant in the U.S., because no other would have any impact on the elections here. If you want to see him elected as badly as it seems you do, IMO I'd focus on American groups........... That's all........Not making fun of what you believe........ Guest guest
Never mind Lynn... Not sure who is being naive here... I am involved with group in America. The poll shows support from all over the world and doesn't say real voters, only what would happen if the rest of the world could have a say. Sometimes it takes being not within a system to be able to see the real broad picture. I suspect you would want the last word on this... please don't think me rude if I don't respond. In my mind this subject better be dropped. Just if and when I see real inaccuracies (or other mainstream lies reiterated) posted I will do my best to correct. H.
