Guest guest
Simple reason Lynn... Ron Paul would be good for the world, not just good for the USA. And I am not alone in this, if it were up to the world voters there wouldn't be a doubt: Ron Paul would be the one. Our boys and girls are deployed in the war regions too Lynn., as are many other nationalities. Not as many, true, but they are there. Our economy although doing better than what I glean about the one in USA is still affected, people here are losing their homes too. Whatever goes terribly wrong in USA has the ripple effect effecting the rest of the world. The day the US stops meddling in other countries that will be the day citizens of the world will stay out of the politics. With regard to giving more accurate information... Ron Paul has roughly 300 delegates, McCain roughly 900, but final nominee will be settled at the September convention. Lots is happening. Many of the primaries are only straw polls and do not decide the delegates, but are decided in caucuses, all which has not even happened yet. Mainstream has taken the attitude of 'winner in a state takes all' .. not all states work like that. MSM doesn't shy away from the bullying reporting which makes everyone believe it in the end. To find the real numbers you would have to look at each state's primary results and then see if they do it by winner take all, percentage, or by place. It would be tedious to accomplish, but maybe someone should do it, so we can put this " McCain has won " crap to rest. Reasons for Dr Paul cutting the numbers of staff is because he is a genius in economics, knows how to spend every dollar to its greatest value, unlike many of the other candidates who have overspent beyond belief and still dropped out. Dr.Paul's budget was never as huge as any of the others, and yet, he is still running and going well, with cash on hand. The dedication of his support is awesome. Unfortunately I can't seem to find the link to the worldvoters site... (if and when I do I will post it), but to give a little info about it: Ron Paul has 63000 of the votes, Obama comes second... McCain had 900. It takes a bit more effort to find the real deal and information but it is out there. You do live in Australia, don't you? Also, what part of what I said was incorrect? I have no investment in passing on wrong info, so I'd really like to know. I first heard about him from my sister who lives in England....... Lynn Lynn I am involved on a daily basis with the grass roots movement , and no, I am not confusing anything. I think the confusing part for many comes from the main stream reporting. The Republican nominee is already sewn up. Ron Paul couldn't run as a Dem - no way in hell he would get the votes. The only way he can get on the ballot is to run as an Independant or Libertarian or something like that.....Not to mention, most of the states have already had their primaries, if not all of them.....most, I think - but not sure... You may be mixing up delegates for votes........ Lynn Checked by AVG. Guest guest
Thank you Hanneke! Glad to see the RP supporters stand up. He is the ONLY candidate in my mind, everyone else is the same. Here is something I posted last nite that never went thru. ========================= Fog of the Voting War.... Do you SEE this? I see before me the fog of war -as they like to call it. It is the smear of the campaign in Politics. But truly, it is the war of our free men against the elite. It is mental and it is symbolic and it is spiritual. If you don't get it...I don't know if I can help you. I wish I could. You see, Right Now, somewhere the Elite (PTB/TPTB/CFR) have been standing with one another, chuckling and laughing at each of us, the electorate, the populus, the voters, the taxpayers. Many of us, in the blur of life and work and family and perhaps blind in sheepland others just trying to live the American dream, have become the foothold of their comedy. Its' tyranny smolders in the embers of this --live, in your face-- chess game. Three candidates with one agenda. No vote needs to be counted, any Pundit in office is a win for the Elite. Obama, Clinton or McCain...Is Absolutely the same for the Elite and Horrendous for our Country... But, we the people, dance around the Charade. We send money, we volunteer, we activate in our community. We debate and we bicker the semantics of religion, color, feminism, War and Peace and all the other little things the Elite Owned Media throws our way. We feel the spirit of democracy and the wave of patriotism. All the while, 5 or more steps ahead, the Elite smoke their cigars and tip swiggers of brandy at each other. Another successful campaign season with some new agendas washed into the brains of the populous. Some of the Moves of 2008: 1- Death of the Republican Party When you spend your evenings only watching Socialist Democrat actors charade each other on TV in the name of politics. It becomes the Only Party in the Country. Is there another candidate or another Party? That moves to part two 2- One Party System Sure, McCain is there, Yelling at anyone who questions him, promising to get us into war, getting on and off of airplanes, running away from any debate offers by other republicans -even if they have zero chance of getting all the delegates. Why? What would it hurt for McCain to be on TV as much as possible. Showing us what he has! Debating down the other Republicans? Can't he debate? Doesn't he have something to say? Or is he a loose cannon Manchurian Candidate? Now that leads back to #1...We have Obama and Clinton on the TVE 24/7...and hence...No one else is running for president..... That moves us clearly to 3... 3- Teaching Americans how to become Socialists Now, if there is no differing party on TV to watch. If every debate and every candidate on TV and every political opinion fighting for president being viewed is presented by only one side of the Coin...(Clinton or Obama) Part 1 and Part 2-Death of Republican Party/One party System... Now, within this mindset...the only thing people are discussing is: Which is better: Obama's Presidential Ideals or Clinton's Ideals? (I know they are both playing for the same team, so my answer is, there is no question...they live and die by the same sword) In the mean time...This creates Passionate Identity to only One side of the Coin... There is No other Side of the Coin.... 4- It is almost Totalitarian... The plurbs on the media about vote fraud. They don't need Vote fraud this year. Everyone is absolutely on the same team. They are just different flavors. Guest guest
Toni, Thank you so much, ... gives a rather vivid description of the whole circus. Well done. Can't help myself Toni, lol, once you're hooked you're hooked.. but on a more serious note: I share your sentiment that he is the ONLY candidate. They have a heck of a time digging up dirt about him because there is none. In their attempts to silence him, since he is not stepping out, the GOP is resorting to the lowest of lowest tactics making up new rules as they go. Some interesting things will happen till November. Voting for the lesser of the evil ones is still evil. Hanneke At 03:17 PM 7/04/2008, you wrote: Thank you Hanneke! Glad to see the RP supporters stand up. Guest guest
Yes, I thought that was a perfect description of our circus! I didn't write it, but it summed up my sentiments enough to save it and try to get people to see what is really happening, the least of which ihs my own Mother! lol Hillary was at the Commission of 300 in July 07 tho, so we know she was probably already hand-picked! I will also write Ron Paul in, *if* there even is an election. Seems to be a bit of a feeling of unrest lately. I am not sure what is going on, but it seems to be a feeling of great despair, like a constant gnawing in your gut kind of thing. Something is amiss, whether it be weather, war or human, that's for sure! Toni PS: I do keep my eye on the usgs.gov site tho! lol http://earthquake.usgs.gov/ "What we are today comes from our thoughts of yesterday, and our present thoughts build our life of tomorrow: Our life is the creation of our mind." ~Buddha~ Hanneke wrote: Toni, Thank you so much, ... gives a rather vivid description of the whole circus. Guest guest
Ya, I supposed they could of Paul Wellstone'd him by now, but how many of them can they really do, and get away with it. Ya, I probably fear for his life more than anything!
