love this quote...... (NOT) they still don't get it..... we do not need to lower cholesterol.... statins are as bad as many other drugs in that they are dangerous to the human body...........

"For myself, I would not take the medication, and if I recommended it to anyone, it would be for the highest-risk patient who couldn't tolerate statins," Krumholz said.

Huh? he would recommend it to the high risk person who COULD NOT

tolerate statins?

Are all physicians that stupid? and willing to risk the lives of their

patients this way? If the patient can't tolerate the drug, what is

the reasoning behind this dummy doctor's statement?

Yes, sorry, I read the quote differently from you. To me, Vytorin IS

a statin (with something extra but it does the same thing) so if he is

still recommending it to those who can't tolerate statins and Vytorin

IS a statin then he shouldn't be recommending Vytorin either. No

difference even though he wants to make it a difference. JMO. Josephine
