Guest guest
I have a two year old that has VERY VERY bad breath. I have smelled dog poo that smells better! My husband says his problem with the bad breath was because he has so much infection in his body that localizes in his tonsils. However my 2yo is not a chronically sick child. Another friend said her son has a problem with halatosis because of all the mucus in his sinuses. This seams to be more plausable reason for my son, as he had RSV (sorry don't know what that stands for other than an infants category type cold) at 3 weeks that hospitalized him for a week. Since he has struggled with profound amounts of mucus whenever he does get a cold, gagging at nights because of the drainage. The odor is the strongest in the morning when he wakes up leading me to believe this is the cause. Other than avoiding dairy is there anything I can do to relieve his dragon breath?? What do some of you adults do for halatosis? TIA --Jamie
Guest guest
Acidophilous powder in nonchlorinated water at night before bedtime will allow the good flora in his intestines to flourish as it has been diminshed by the medicines your child has been on. Get the nondairy kind. It just tastes like watered-down milk. You can read about this in "The Yeast Connection" at your library.
