Guest guest
Hi everyone, I just found this group. I've been interested in natural remedies through the years. I've suffered from a variety of annoying problems including, interstitial cystitis, plantar fascitis, wide spread pain, sinus infections that lead to a severe nasal spray addiction, chronic fatigue, just to name a few. I only realized a few years ago that all these things are only peices and parts of Fibromyalgia. I have not been officially diagnosed. When my then general practitioner told me that we should do some testing to rule out other things and then decide if that was it, I just threw my hands up and said forget it. I went through a few years of just feeling like I would fall apart completely and life pretty much wasn't ever going to be good again. I really haven't gotten any worse. I haven't gotten any better either. So I've finally decided it's time to take the bull by the horns and see what I can do about it all. Does anyone here take a probiotic? I bought a bottle of stuff today and didn't realize until I got home that it was 75 dollars! Wow is all I can say. Is it really worth that expense? I've also ordered a Fybromyalgia vitamin supplement mix of malac acid and some other things. Does anyone have any other suggestions? I look forward to meeting everyone. take care Suzi
Guest guest
Hi Suzi: Source Naturals has a"Fibro-Response" supplement that I like. I'm not going to copy the ingredients because that list goes on for several miles. Perhaps the most helpful when fibro was an active reality (it's gone at present...!)was yoga off a video. That stretching seems to be so important. If I start to "creak-up" again it's often coincidental with skipping yoga for a long time. An herbal supplement specifically is ginger and curcumin (equal amounts for those of you who capsule your own.). I can't find them on the supplement shelves anymore and both my husband and I do really well with them so I"ve taken to capsuling for us. Kind of relaxing....listen to nice music, whatever. It works.
