Guest guest
I read some posts on people with Stomach Problems; and 1 w/a Hernia. I think we all know the Stomach is where Digestion really begins. We also known that food gets to the Stomach via the Mouth; and the Stomach is connected to the Intestional-tract. From the way I understand it; and from looking at pictures of The Intestional Tract; I can see The Digestive Tract is one big long " tube " with all type of bends and curves. Picture underneath your Kitchen sink; that curve on the Pipe; that is how our Intestines are but much longer and even more curvy. So this is the question: " How do I get the Food I put in my Mouth to be fully digested by my stomach and Intestines AND get the most Nutrients out of it? " In my opinion the best answer to this is: *FIBER* or *Bulk*. The best way I ever read of " Defining Fiber is " is this: *Fiber will sweep-out the Intestional-System like a Broom..... " The Best sources of Fiber: *Wheat-Bran; Rice-Bran; Apple-Pectin " ; Celery is good; ALL PLANTS HAVE FIBER: esp. Beans; Wheat Germ good. Brown Rice and Whole Wheat Breads are high in Fiber and Nutrients. There are countless Fiber-Pills and Powders on the Market; *Swiss- Chris* is good: *Metameucil is good' MIX METAMEUCIL WITH WATER: There is a new OTC-tablet called: *FIBER-CON W/CALCIUM*. Try it!
