Guest guest
Hi everybody, I have been having trouble with my eyes itching for about 3 weeks now. At first thought that it was just allergies. But I have no other symptoms of allergies like nasal congestion, sneezing etc... Also my eyes are very sticky upon waking in the AM. Which leads me to beleive some sort of infection. Does anyone have any suggestions for me to try?? Any advice would be appreciated.

Guest guest
i would get some chamomille tea ... way to do it : heat about 1 /2 c of water and add teabag . let steep until warm [cool ] enough to put on your eyes . either use a clean washcloth or the teabag , and wash eyes out . just make sure you dont tear the teabag and get all them little leaves in your eyes . this really works ! chamomille is a natural antisptic . a friends baby had an eyeinfection and the dr wouldnt give him any meds . she did not know what to do . i told her to do this 3 x a day . within 3 days his eyeinfection [ which he had for months ] was gone !! i would do it morning and night . and / or also if they itch during the day . Guest guest
Yes, I used to have this happen, and more often, in the winter. I cleansed my system. Allergies are not just sneezing, nasal congestion, and the like, which we normally hear. The bottom line is the body is loaded with toxins which produces allergies, etc., etc., etc. Jan herbal remedies [herbal remedies ] On Behalf Of bewheel15Friday, June 09, 2006 7:00 AMherbal remedies Subject: Herbal Remedies - Itchy eyes Hi everybody,I have been having trouble with my eyes itching for about 3 weeks now. Guest guest
Having red, itchy eyes with a gummy, sticky, grainy residue sounds like conjunctivitis or Pink Eye. The residue is very infectious and can spread to any other eyes with simple contact. I had a case of pink eye about a month or so ago and cured it within a couple of days simply by spraying my homemade CS (colloidal silver) solution into my eyes. CS kills the pathogens on contact and the lids have to be held open while using a trigger sprayer to get complete wetting. I had a slight stinging and then coolness feeling. Guest guest
If you take a tea bag soak it in warm water..then lay it on your eyes it should clear it up...you can let the tea run right in your eye ...I have been doing this for about 15 years...works on alergies as well as pink eye.. Guest guest
*I second this: I also use this method to relieve itchy or tired eyes. The best thing is you can use any type of Tea-Bag; I use reg. Tea. What I do is boil up my Tea in a Pot. Then I remove the bags and let the bags cool ever so slighlty. Then I sit down and put one bag on each eye and let it set. I haven't had an eye-prob. in 20 years. NOTICE: Any female who has an eye-irritation may stop eye-make-up. Whne anyone puts a chemical such as eye-makeup near their eyes this can only irritate the eyese further. Never use other's make up. I got a huge boil on my face once from using another's lip-stick. This was when I was younger; Mum took me to DR. Doc recommened My Mum put " washclothes soaked in hot water on boil. We did this 3-4 times a day for about 3 days and the Boil went away on it's own!!! NOTE: You can also use a saoked-in-water Tea Bag to clean pores. Guest guest
Hi Stuck: best to use Black or Green as some Herbal Teas may have unknown Herbs; just heat a cup of water in a saucepan; add two tea bags bring to a boil turn off heat; take the bag press and hold; until cool. Repeat on other eye. Or press and hold bag on pimple.--- In herbal remedies , " chralissia " <chralissia wrote: > > herbal remedies , " Stuck " <Sstuck@> wrote: > > > > does it matter what kind of tea whether it is black, green or herb, > warm or cold water? do I swipe, blot or cover my face in them? all > these details LOL > > Stuck > > - > > Anne > > herbal remedies > > Sunday, June 11, 2006 9:22 AM > > [lists] Herbal Remedies - Re: Itchy eyes > > > > > i just use reg tea in warm water... > I squeze most of the water out... > lay down or tip head back... > then squeze some of the tea right into the eye... > and lay the bags over the eyes till they cool down ..... > if my eyes are bothering me I will do this 4 or 5 times a day... > but it usualy dont take that long.... > I have alergies...and love to garden... > so some times it gets bad.... > hope this helps > chralissia >
