Well, just to add my 2 cents...

I smoked weed every day for years, when I was diagnosed Bipolar and

Borderline Personality Disorder. I had started self medicating with

it when I was 16. Over time, with my unhealthy habits (drinking,

not sleeping enough, smoking cigs, eating very little) I became very

nutrient deficient. I also developed a bad bacterial infection in

my stomach. This caused a multiplicity of negative things in my

body and mind, and contributed to the fact that I constantly wanted

to end my life. Through all of this, the only relief I could

reallly find was within smoking weed. I got relief from the threat

of my mind, but I did not GO anywhere either. I might have been

prevented from taking my life but it was only because I wasn't

modivated to complete anything!!! I have always had nausea after

eating and dizziness, and it helped with that. But I still had

problems with depression, so I was put on many different meds. I was

put on Cymbalta two years ago, and that helped for a little bit, but

as my body metabolized it, I began to have increasing levels of

nausea and dizziness. I finally decided NO MORE!!! I had quit

smoking, drinking, starving myself, I started to sleep enought, so

this seemed like the next step. It took me two months to go off

fully, and during that time I still smoked weed because it helped

with the nausea I was feeling while not having Cymbalta. Now I am

completely off everything, except for a tincture of St. Johns Wort,

Skullcap, and Licorice. This I only take when I start to become

manic. But now I manage my " illnesses " by lifstyle management, not

through drugs I absorb from around me. I feel a much better sense

of self because of it. I also eliminated my bacterial infection,

which I believe caused much of my illness indicators. It prevented

me from getting all kinds of nutrients. Now I fully absorb all of

the vitamins I take and minerals as well. I have clarity,

modivation, compassion and hope. All without pharmacuticals!!! It

is liberating and beautiful. I hope anyone with the depths I felt

will reach out to a naturopath and heal themselves in this manner.

We all deserve to feel good.

PS:If anyone has any questions about how I got off Cymbalta, I would

love to help you figure it out. I was having a hard time because

they don't make any smaller doses than 20 mg, and if I went without

one of the pills, I would become VERY sick. So I made my own,

smaller pills, and felt NO SIDE EFFECTS. It was awesome!!!

that marijuana is not addictive and does not open the door to other

drugs.Well you got a buddy. My son continues to pick up horrid

viruses and barcteri so that he can qualify for the heavest of

pharmecuetical drugs. And he also has used marijuana since he was

sixteen, He one time was on a camp out with the entire family. He

fell out of his camper and embarrassed himself. And injured his ankle.

You seem to think that you are thinking clear. Actually you are in a

fog and cannot see it.

>

> And if you don't think that that you are addicted to it, why do

you use it everyday? If it was gambling, or ice cream you would

probably call it addiction. What is going on in your life that you

feel that you have to put a mask on your life? Life is suspose to be

wonderfull, full of adventure and happiness.( commonly called JOY)
