Guest guest
Hello, I'm looking for some help from someone that is a bit more knowledgable about weight loss pills and herbal supplements and so forth. While dieting is a possibility for me, exercise is not because of my " handicap " . I've had several hip surgeries. A friend of mine from Ohio called me about a week and a half ago or so and she said she found something that is really working for her. I've researched it as much as I can on the Internet, and I think I'm a pretty net-savvy person, but I still have concerns. The product doesn't contain Ma Huang or ephedra (I guess some people would rather it did), but there are a number of ingredients in it that I'm just not familiar with. I've looked up the ingredients through wikipedia and other places and there doesn't seem to be any concern. I found one person online who was actually saying that the product doesn't work as well without the Ma Huang. I hoping some 'experts' here and give me the green light on this product because I'm just about at the end of my rope with weight loss options. My friend Judy has now lost 48 pounds with the product without having to exercise, but she's more of the kind of person that will just jump and do something without looking. I'm a bit more careful with this kind of stuff. The website for the product is http://www.naturesdietsolution.com There is a few other places that are selling it, but that site has a full list of ingredients and their effects. Please let me know! Thank you, Jane

Guest guest
Jane, I understand about your struggle with weight loss. I am in a wheelchair due to Cerebral Palsey and I have had to find ultimate forms of exercise, even though you can not use your legs as well you can still do a yoga form of dancing to get your blood circulating... it is all about getting your metabolism up to burn more fat. I know that diet pills work for some people and not for others and 25 dollars a bottle is a lot to pay for something that doesn't work. The ingrediants in it though seems a lot safer than most that I have seen. So I'd like to offer an alternative to an alternative LOL Drink green tea at least twice a day to help cleanse your system cut out caffine because it dries your system out and while it gives you a temporary burst of energy the dehydration slows your system flow down and that is not good. I have read that it takes 4 glasses of water to make up for each bottle of pop that you drink! Also, incorporate plenty of fruits and veggies in your diet and stick to chicken and fish for your meats. Trust me when I say that nuts and peanut butter will give you all the protein that you need. Vinager is also great for cleansing your system and help you to burn fat. I know that this plan seems a little mundane but if you stick with it for a couple of months I promise you will see a difference in how you look and feel. OH Yeah, if you are wondering about the yoga style exercise I was talking about here is how I do it. I am in a wheelchair like I said I have 2 1lb bells that I use and I have a cd mix that I use. If I want to pump my energy level up I play high energy music and do arm exercises with the bells to the rhythem of the music. To relax in the evening for bed I have a different mix that is slow and soulful and I do the same kind of movement slower and without the dumbells just close your eyes and move your body any way you can breathing in through the nose and out your mouth. Almost like a ritual dance or meditation. I really believe that the key to maintaining weight and helth in general is good diet and exercise. Guest guest
Try drinking green herbal tea, full of antioxidants it cleanses the body of free radicals and will help you feel better, try drinking a glass before every meal. You will also be less hungry and more hydrated, a great combination, especially in the summer months.JACKIE SIMON "jane_white51" <jane_white51herbal remedies To: herbal remedies Subject: Herbal Remedies - Weight Loss Product Works - Is it Safe though?Wed, 07 Jun 2006 21:36:34 -0000 Hello,I'm looking for some help from someone that is a bit more knowledgableabout weight loss pills and herbal supplements and so forth. While dieting is a possibility for me, exercise is not because of my"handicap". Guest guest
Hi, I am new and havent really posted yet but here goes. I would NOT recommend taking ephedra no matter how much you want to lose the weight. It does work however ephedra can be really bad for you and is illegal in some states. It causes rapid heart beat and heart attacks among other things so especially do not take it if you consume a lot of caffeine. I would recommend detox teas or another diet. If you reallly want to try something, try Atkins which isnt that great for you either but better than taking ephedra and works well (for me atleast, I lost about 25 pounds in 3 1/2 weeks with no excercise)
