Hi!

I also swell - more during the warm weather or during long flights.

The water pill ususally helps me, along with propping up the feet.

Last summer I bumped my leg while it was swollen and ended up with a

nasty case of cellulitis - so please be careful. Jobst (compression)

stockings also seem to help. Anything that helps increase and

stimulate circulation should help. Do you have a mini trampoline? I

do that or jump rope and over time it seems to help some. I just need

to be more regular in an exercise program to keep it from happening as

much to begin with. Hope this is of some help to you.

I have been having this problem as well and desperately would like some help here too? mine is so bad that my lower back gets so stiff I can only be upright momentarily before it gives out and I "fold" in half! my skin is so tight and stretched all over my body from this - I made it through 3 pregnancies without ay stretch matks but I am suffering miserably with stretch marks now, very painful at that. there is NO give in my flesh, like theres a hose pumping my up and no release valve. I too have tried water pills ad they hae provided minimal help. was takig cranberry 3 times a day too, minimal salt intake, etc- feels like its just getting worse! help!

well thanks

Though I dont have any personal experience to share, Dr. Christophers

book says the two best things are Juniper Berries and Parsley as a

tea. I believe you can look it up here and follow the link to a

segment of his (Dr. Christopher's) biography that tells of him using

it.

I know edema can be painful. I used to see what " benificial " steroids

like Prednizone did to my Grandmother, her legs would swell so badly

they would actually weep. Not a pretty sight.
