Guest guest Posted May 31, 2006 Report Share Posted May 31, 2006 Hi Tabby, First of all, don't be concerned over the fever. Fevers are a body's natural way to defend against germs by "cooking" them. There are a lot of falsehoods told to mothers about fevers I discovered when my daughter had one of 105. Of course I freaked, but I also read. I learned that the body will not get so hot so as to cause brain damage on its own. It can only do so with outside help such as bundling in a lot of clothes/blankets, being in a hot car, etc... Now to treat the ear infection I highly recommend garlic/mullein ear drops in the ear. You can put CS in her ear, and have her drink some as well. If you can get her to only drink fresh squeezed orange juice while she's ill that would benefit her as well. I'm sure others will have more ideas. Guest guest Posted June 3, 2006 Report Share Posted June 3, 2006 we had just recently stopped giving her dairy and then i decided i was being too harsh so i let her have one glass a day, after i started giving her that one glass she got an ear infection, i gaver her the colloidal silver and her ear infection is all gone.
