It's her ears............your grand baby has very sensitive ears.

try some acupressure points in front of the ear canal and just behind the

ear lobe to help release some of the built up inner pressure, just light

pressure for a few minutes.......couldn't hurt to try

blessings, Marlene

worried grandma

Hello everyone! My daughter and I have a problem and we are open to

any and all types of suggestions, just fyi. My four month old grand

daughter cries awfully whenever she is in the car. The car seat is

fine and strapped in correctly. She is on soy formula because she

had too many digestive problems with everything else they tried.

She is not an irritable or fussy baby, nor does she spit or vomit

alot, but when we get in the car, she cries and cries. The

situation is very stressful for her mother when she's driving alone

with the baby, and ditto for me and anyone else who drives alone

with her, so we are trying to come up with a plan, or routine, to be

done before getting in the car so it is less stressful for us to

hear her crying while we're driving. We are both calm, peaceful

people, but it's difficult and heart-breaking. If someone can hold

a bottle for her or entertain her, she only cries for a short

while. The baby's mother had motion sickness/car sickness as a

child quite severly and since car seats are strapped in backwards, I

suspect the baby might be suffering from car sickness. I thought of

soaking a cloth in ginger tea and putting it on her belly, but I

wasn't sure if she was too young for that. Does anyone have any

suggestions? And if you work with laughter as medicine, we would

really love to hear from you right now!
