Guest guest
it depends on what is wrong with your thyroid, is it hyper or hypo? did you have it removed or killed with radiation? Guest guest
My DO thinks I will be off the PTU in less than a year. I feel alot better about the herbals and they don't seem to come with all those nasty side effects. In fact I seem to have more energy! I was on atenalol as well but the Hawthorn has allowed be to pitch that one all ready. I went into detail of the amounts I take in another e-mail moments ago so I won't do that now. But when I started taking the herbal supplements I was on 300mg's of the PTU a day so the herbals would probably need to be modified for a less severe case. Other studies have also implicated high cholesterol, depression, headaches, cardiovascular, and other problems with the thyroid [1-5]. Current and historical references suggest that substances contained within the ingredients in Metabolic Thyrocan nutritionally help support the thyroid gland and promote better overall metabolism. Note: many believe glandulars provide nutritional support for the type of gland they are [6-13].
Guest guest
i dont think you will be able to, herbals are ment to support your thyroid and if theres nothing there to support then they probably wouldnt help. I also had this procedure done and i cant find anything for me either On 6/4/06, marga carl <margakay wrote: I was hyper and treated with radioactive isotope itpretty much killed it.
