Guest guest
Hi everyone, I have a great diet but high cholesterol runs in my family. Dad had a stroke at 45. Just returned from the Dr. and he wants me to use a med to lower my cholesterol. Prescribed Mevacore (Lovastatin) which I sure don't want to use. I know what to do diet, exercise and supplement wise but don't want to load up on tons of stuff... niacin, plant sterols, garlic, fiber, red yeast rice, etc. So, I'm hoping to be pointed in a direction based on personal experience. I've been a vegetarian and vegan in the past and am thinking of going all raw. I'm 50 and have always been exceptionally healthy, but this year has been tough with Valley Fever. Feeling like my body is catching up with my years and I don't like it!!! Thanks in advance for your suggestions, Michelle
