Garlic-honey remedy- Effectively treats strept throat, sore

throat, tonsillitis, etc - gets rid of strept throat in 24-48 hrs.

3-5 Garlic cloves, minced - equal to adult dose of penicillin. Will

not compromise immune system.

1 tblsp Honey - use unheated, raw, unfiltered honey from health food

store. Will not have botulism. (Raw honey is sterile)

1/8-1/2 tsp Cayenne

Mix honey, cayenne, garlic. Dose is 1 teaspoon. Can take as often

as desired. Best to not eat or drink for about 15 minutes after

taking a dose. (My children usually get some elderberry tincture in

glycerine to " cleanse their pallet " .

I also would use Echinacea and Elderberry tinctures or teas to

support the immune system. Tinctures made with vegetable glycerine

taste sweet.

A tea made from red raspberry leaves is wonderful anytime - but

especially helpful when dealing with illness. (I often add

elderberries to the raspberry leaves giving an even better taste

plus more medicinal power.)

I should also mention that we have found after getting off of all

dairy that we hardly ever get sick anymore even though we are with

lots of very ill people on a regular basis.
