Guest guest
The Roman Empire fell partly because the women were infertile due to cooking food in lead pots. Metals go to the ovaries, uterus, prostate, testes, and the regulatory organs. It is a major reason for infertility today. Here I'll mention Dr. Clark again. She says we are all exposed to too much metal. Metal cookware, tableware, sodas in cans, amalgam fillings, anti-perspirants (and deoderant) and lotions contain aluminum so they stick to the skin, just like make-up containing titanium dioxide and other lanthanide metals. We use water for cooking that has run through copper pipes with lead joints. Don't wear any jewelry; the gold and silver and platinum and other alloys stay inside of the body. The thyroid pulls everything on the skin inward for the liver to detoxify. The liver doesn't have the chemical processes to detoxify metal or other chemicals in body products. These substances create an immune response all day long. They are poison to the body. Enamel is the safest material to cook in. Glass is not heated to the same high temperatures it used to be, so people are not getting bits of glass in their bodies. As for tableware, there is sturdy plasticware available. There are even sharp plastic knives that can cut a piece of steak. The metal of a soda can gets dissolved by the phosphoric acid in the soda. Now the body pulls calcium from the bones and teeth to process that. Citric acid is an alternative deoderant. You can get it at Whole Foods. It looks like sugar crystals that you put on wet fingertips and put under your arm. It will stain a silk blouse because it is an acid. But now your underarm lymph nodes aren't working overtime from store deoderants. After 5, 10, 20 years, the body and brain are affected. Now we have Alzheimers at a young age, rotten teeth, and bones breaking in women at 45 at menopause because they have been drinking sodas all their lives and not whole fat organic milk. People don't feel good because of the inundation of chemicals from everything they put on their skin. Our skin looks terrible. Lipsticks contain gadolinium which is very bad. It goes right to the brain. Dentists can only store so much mercury in their offices because the mercury vapor is so toxic. And this is what they put in our mouths. The stomach gets a constant influx of metal. Hair dyes contain lead. Vanessa

Guest guest
Stainless steel is perfectly safe. Just no aluminum, iron, teflon, lead, etc. Lead is a heavy metal, causing lots of damage to the environment and our health. Aluminum has been strongly linked with Alzheimer's. Ceramic is safe, as long as it hasn't been painted, especially outside of the US (where chemicals in paints are even less regulated than here and hence, more hazardous). Gold, silver, and platinum are HIGHLY unreactive (just got done with 2 university chemistry classes where we actually conducted lab experiments) and so they're not harmful to the body. However, I WOULD be cautious of plastic. Plastic is not so stable at high temps and is primarily heavy alkane molecules (think fuels, petrochemicals, waxes--some of which are carcinogenic--etc). Just stay with the stainless steel and you'll be fine. It's non-porous and non-reactive. Instead of the citric acid, I pick up some pre-made deodorant at Whole Foods. It functions, smells, and looks just like regular deodorant, so it's palatable to use and there's no real adjustment needed. It's not all that cheap, but it's aluminum-free and if you look hard enough, you can also find paraben-free and propylene-glycol-free deodorants as well. But read your labels! Not ALL of their deodorants are totally safe.
