Feel the need to stretch

Good morning all,

I woke up this morning feeling the need to stretch my right leg (this

is actually what woke me up, not the alarm). Only thing is, whatever

stretches I do aren't working (I am very flexible so I have

to " extreme " stretch). This is the second time this overwhelming

desire to stretch my leg has happened and it is bothersome. I feel

like I want to open my leg and stretch the muscles by hand but

obviously I can't. I don't want to go to the medical doctor because

he's just gives pills and as we see the feeling is back.

Anyone ever heard of this before? Have any ideas and/or

suggestions? Maybe reflexology foot or hand massage? Any kind of

herbal compress? I am open to hearing suggestions. Please note I am

still new to the natural way of living and the use of herbals so " dumb

it down " for me if you can.

Please help,

Ms. Uncomfortable

:-) Thanks in advance.

Hope you have found some relief on this, but thought I would throw in my two cents, just in case it helps. I used to have the same problem... still do sometimes if I have not been active enough, or eating too well. I would NOT recommend you see a Dr... guaranteed they will "diagnose" you with the latest and greatest syndrome (I think this week it's "Restless Leg Syndrome"... lol) and try to put you on some drug. Good habits of exercise, regular all-day water drinking, and eating low sodium foods as well as laying off meats and dairy seem to really help me. I actually have a stationary bike in my apartment now for when I cannot just go for a walk or run (In this big city it's not so easy, outdoor exercise must be a little more planned) and I use "mood" music... I actually got a "rain maker" with outdoor recorded sounds to close my eyes to while I ride my indoor bike... not the same, but until the move in a year to the country it will have to do... and it

ABSOLUTELY helps with the legs not feeling like I have to stretch them as much... I also never get charlie horse cramps anymore either; In fact, after a while all I needed was some of the good old fashioned "Gym class" stretches first thing each morning, which is flat out a great way to start every day ANYway, :) and I'm good to go :o)With these day-time changes, and some good relaxing teas at night, it should really start to ease up in time. I hope this helps you :)Love and Blessings,~RaavenAsk nicely and I may tell <p31ladee wrote: Good morning all, I woke up this morning feeling the need to stretch my right leg (this is actually what woke me up, not the alarm).
