Guest guest
only breast very little juice non at night Stuck - Ask nicely and I may tell herbal remedies Wednesday, May 10, 2006 12:05 AM [lists] Herbal Remedies - Re: cavaties I haven't read all of the other responses but I am compelled to ask is the baby nursing from the breast or from a bottle? If from the breast, many doctors say to wean because they don't understand that breast don't leak as bottles do. Breastmilk does pool in a baby's mouth when they sleep because they are not swallowing. What you can do is after she is asleep, take a wet piece of gauze and wipe her teeth down to make sure you get all of the natural milk sugars off her teeth. I will also caution the use of juices while you are nursing. There is sugar in both and that, I have been told, will wreak havoc on teeth. As for having the problem corrected, I went the medical route because I was not privvy to natural methods at that time. Rather I was not as read as I am now becomming. I will offer what we did praying I am not in violation of board rules. I found a dentist who mixed medical coverage and dental coverage to get minimum cost for me. My child had dental reconstruction because all but one tooth was damaged (her father gave her candy as an older infant/toddler as a peace offering - grrrrrr, but didn't feel the need to tell me and that was the great caper). Others on the boards may be able to tell you more natural ways to deal with soft teeth/cavities in young children.Good luck and God bless. herbal remedies , "Stuck" <Sstuck wrote:>> my baby has cavities on her top front teeth. the Dr. said from nursing at night. i don't know how else to get her to sleep, she brings stubborn a while new definition. LOL but I am so embarrassed, I don't want her to have my smiling problem. Talia is a very pretty little girl, but if she opens her mouth too wide you see the brown and I feel like an awful mother:( is there anything out there that might help her before she looses the baby teeth anyway. that will be years. She is going o the dentist but they are fluoride happy and it drives me nuts! would cs be ok for her? I feel awful and very embarrassed > Stuck> > > ---> avast!
