Guest guest
Have you and your doctor considered Pityriasis Rosea? I've been dealing with it for the last couple months...Looks like ringworm, itches like mad. I have bruises from scratching so hard. We've run the gamut of meds trying to find something that works: when it started in March, we tried a steroid cream. It worked, but as soon as I stopped the treatment they came back. In April, we tried the Medrol Dosepak and a ZPack. Same thing. A couple weeks later she started me on antifungals, oral and cream. Yesterday she did a lot of research because my spots weren't responding to the antifungals, and came up with that. There is no cure, you can only treat the symptoms. All this from the girl who hadn't had any meds for the last few years...my body really needs a break now! With Pityriasis, you have one patch that shows up before all the others. It gets really big and nasty. The others are smaller andlook a lot like ringworm, but they're usually only on the trunk. Anyway, I thought about it when I read that it is spreading on your back and chest...hopefully you've managed to get it under control already - I just found my way back here after over a year... herbal remedies , " Kate Irwin " <herbal.medicine wrote: > > Hello, > > The full strength should not burn at all - if you especially sensitive skin > maybe dilute half and half, but most people can use it neat with no adverse > effects. > > Kate > >-- Original Message -- > >herbal remedies > > " Tori " <tori_1138 > >Sun, 30 Apr 2006 15:40:44 -0000 > >Re: Herbal Remedies - Reoccuring Itchy Rash > >herbal remedies > > > > > >Will the full strength burn? Guest guest
Well, I've had ringworm and this isn't it. The rash is like a brownish color and starts as splotches and spreads out from there. It isn't raised or oozing, a bit scaley though but not too much. I'm using the tea tree oil now and so far it seems to be helping! I also put some in my shampoo because it's now on my scalp. Thanks though, I'm glad it isn't ringworm cause I've been there! Tori
