That would be great advise but the bottle is sort of attached to me. I know hubby would miss them if I got rid of them. LOL. and I can't have him going in to calm her down. she wants me and that's it. but she is doing a bit better some days and worse than a new born other days. it's insane.

The only way I know to "wean" a baby that's "hooked" on the bottle is to just get rid of the bottle and get yourself mentally and emotionally prepared for the child to cry for a few nights...and she will. It can be nerve wracking but if you get up several times with her and reassure her she's ok, lots of hugs and love..you both will get through it. I went through this "withdrawal" with my first and second child. Third child I took a different approach and only used the bottle for feeding times when the was hungry for food/milk..what a difference. I didn't use the bottle to appease or distract. Wish I would have done this with the first 2. Best luck with Talia. My own daughter was EXTREMELY strong willed too so I just had to be consistent and say no, sorry, we're done with this.
