ok this is a multi question issue

I posted before about boyfriends health problems but yesterday he was really sick and ended up at er and his labs were a bit unusual so I wanted to see what you all had to say-

we woke up about 9 am, he didn’t eat or drink anything at all, not even water and as usual he woke up with severe tummy pain and nausea. he proceeded to the routine of throwing up but he said it was tarry/sludgy. usually after he vomits he is a bit better and goes on about his day but it didn’t and he ended up getting sick again but it was all bile. very lethargic as always, cant seem to be awoken from sleep for anything especially during these sick times. urine very dark and smelly, obviously no appetite, also has runs badly. now no one can seem to explain why.... family history of diabetes and heart problems. also maybe a week ago was having real trouble with shortness of breath and chest pains but er trip then confirmed no heart trouble.

for the strange labs his electrolytes all showed normal, actually id say a little high for things like potassium, sodium etc since he had lost so much from the runs and puking and again had NOTHING to eat or drink from 3 am on and blood ran at 5/6 pm after all that. also his glucose was high. (glucose - 108, potassium 4.1 and sodium was I think 150ish)

also 2 separate people had suggested porphyria could be the cause. anyone know anything about any of this and if so what could be done to help?

well - hope someone has something to offer here. poor guy is miserable and we have 3 kids and I rely on him to care for me as I am disabled.... this needs to get under control!!!!!

thanks folks-

melisa

No Matter what the health concern is if you stop doing whatever it is your doing and start a Total Body cleanse it will clear out the problem it will help flush it away. What you need to do is stop eating and start drinking your food do a Live Juice Fast and water, it is the most powerful healing tool there is, it will give your digestive system a break which it desperately needs right now. If you continue with the fast then work on cleansing out some of those organs as well your colon, kidneys and liver. This might all sound dramatic to someone that is not familiar with this type of healing but it works. But really everything that your boyfriend is going thorough is pretty dramatic, you can turn this around and it is very simple, look in the files of this group it will tell you what to do and you will be so amazed that the healing is at your control, you do not need to live that way. I don't now that this sounds like Porphyria, but it does sound like his labs were a bit elevated due to dehydration from throwing up and having diarrhea. Did they do stool cultures on him? Did they check his emesis and stool for occult blood? It is difficult to ascertain what kinds of things to rule out without a bit more information. It could be several things, from gastroenteritis, to giardia (which I highly doubt). Did they do x-rays of his abdomen? There are so many things out there. I wish you luck. There is a lot of information on the Internet regarding Porphyria that would help you more that what I could offer. Good luck! Cindy

unfortunately they really didn’t do much - he requested an xray or ct of his abdomen as we were beginning to become concerned of intestinal obstruction or tumor or something. but why would the glucose and electrolytes be high after losing so much fluid? usually they are lower after losing that much. the only tests they ran was a chem 7 and hem, platlet differential- and finger rectal for blood. so they really didn’t do aything at all and upon release dr mentiond something about a worm but didn’t give him anything to take or do about any of it. so the next day he woke up just as sick all ver again.

I did find some good info on porphria and that’s part of why I asked if anyone here had any ideas on it as his sx were pretty on target with it but then again, they match with a large number of things and of course drs arent getting involved just giving him antidepressants and tranqs which only add to the problem. I hate drs, especially in our medical community. anyways- thanks for the help
