Good Washing, and Acidophilus

Two questions...

I was wondering if anyone has any suggestions on good washing

techniques for fruits and veggies. Obviously it should always be

done... but just rinsing can't possibly be enough, even if I DO have a

filter on my tap! Was just more of a curiosity, to see if anyone had

any suggestions. Being stuck in a big city I can't always get my hands

on good organics and would rather buy SOME fruits and veggies than go

without completely...

Also, I picked up acidophilus today, as suggested by many. Is there a

suggested dose? Also, it says on the bottle to only refridgerate if

desired. What is best? I'll be taking it to boost my immune system and

aid in all my digestive problems (From ulcers to colon and kidneys...)

but was wondering if I could somehow get more info on what, when, why,

and how much? LOL Generally just a more spelled out about the

supplement in it's entirity! :o)

Thanks!

Love and Blessings,

~Raaven

PS... Bob, I got bananas today too! Yucky medicine! LOL

I have a fruit and veg wash, from a health food shop. I also buy a

rough dish cloth (not sure what yo call it but one that is for pots

and pans) I use a special colour so no one uses it for washing

anything else and use that to scrub the fruit before it's eaten.
