Guest guest
I was wondering if anyone could enlighten me for a moment and explain to me what exactly the evils of these two things are. Years ago I was told by my Grandmother that I should not eat anything containing MSG because it aids in the onset of migraines (Which I still occasionally suffer from). Recently, I was agin told the same thing. However, I have noticed in taking the time to actually read ingredients, that it is in almost EVERYTHING!!! Just about everything canned or processed in the average american's pantry contains MSG. HOW FRUSTRATING! Especially because I cannot shop for just myself, being married AND having my sister with us currently... noth of them still shop according to convenience and sale and I can't really argue with them all the time since we're all on a tight budget. Seems to me everywhere you turn MSG abides. Secondly, Peanuts. For years I was under the impression peanuts were a good source of many things, but recently I seem to see a lot of writings saying they are a big no no in trying to achieve an optimum regular diet. But I don't know WHY they are no good. Thanks for humoring me, and Love & Blessings to all! ) ~Raaven
Guest guest
As for MSG, it is in many things and is ok in small quantities. Large quantities (Like thye put in some chinese foods and in the flavoring "Accent") can cause migrains, discomfort and asthma like attacks in some people. To avoid MSG, buy more natural foods. As for peanuts, they contain something called aflatoxins and certain allergens.E J Lanier <raavenart wrote: I was wondering if anyone could enlighten me for a moment and explainto me what exactly the evils of these two things are.
