Guest guest
Hi Rusty, I was going to post about this last week & forgot: I was browning a roast in olive oil & dropped it into the hot oil, it splattered & ran down my forearm. It was very painful while I finished the roast. The weirdest part, I had some emu oil & lavender eo handy from lotion making & took the emu oil & put it on part of the burns & put the lavender eo on top of that. It was like someone took a dimmer switch & turned it down/off - my pain just receded. My thoughts: as the emu/lavender penetrated & absorbed in the skin it took the pain away. The burns that I initially missed ended up blistering. After my shower it started hurting again so I reapplied the above & the pain went away. I also hit the rest of the burns with the emu/lavender - no more pain. The only time I had pain was if I scraped it against something. The burns have almost all faded away except the ones that blistered still show up a little. Guest guest
Lavender Essential Oil is the most absolute premier wound healer I have ever encountered. Teddyberen wrote: I use CS.. Guest guest
Wouldn't tea tree oil sting like crazy on an open wound? Just curious since I recently got some and noticed it was 'powerful stuff' when used in the ears with olive oil. - Teddyberen herbal remedies Monday, April 24, 2006 5:33 PM Herbal Remedies - Burn I use CS.. Guest guest
How open are we talking? A cut probably would, but a burn? I didn’t think so. -Shelby -----Original Message----- herbal remedies [herbal remedies ]On Behalf Of The Grubb Family Monday, April 24, 2006 5:12 PM To: herbal remedies Re: Herbal Remedies - Burn Wouldn't tea tree oil sting like crazy on an open wound?
